E n c o u n t e r was established in 1995, in the far north of Sweden.
In the late 90s they were minor participants in the swedish synth pop wave of the time, and came up with a few releases on Energy Rekords, then went silent for many years.

At present residing on the west coast, work still continues in a slow pace on new as well as previously unreleased older material.
Encounter is a completely independent operation, with no affiliations to traditional record companies. New music will be released on their own label Godagatt.
